I can do that too. On my low C (Bb concert) I can lip down to low.... actually, I don't know how far I can go. I think I can reach about a low E below the staff before I slip and skip down to the G below that. Then I can lip that down to a low C and sometimes the G below that. lol Awesome!! Triple-octave low G!! And still working on my high range. I can get an F above the staff, and sometimes the G right above that.

In case Josh hasn't told the low brass yet, every Wednesday we'll be having sectionals for an hour and a half, and full brass sectionals for half an hour. And this is for me and Anthony in case one of us (probably me) forgets:
Michael - Dryn Anthony - Jonathan (good luck) Geoffery - Larry (lol) Victoria - Marleigh Zach - Matt
And we'll pick someone for Zach Munson if/when he comes back to band. Anthony, I think we should team: we'll both work on marching and music, but you'll do most of the marching and I'll do most of the music. And we'll help him learn his sets and everything. I'd kinda like to take each trumpet for a short review sometime so I can see what everyone is teaching them. (Not that I don't trust all the veterans, but I just want to see what they're learning and add a few tips. And I've already memorized the music and I've been listening to the music all summer, so I have a pretty good idea of what the style is, so I just want to make sure everyone like Zach and Victoria (no offense to them) are teaching the right style.) So I was thinking, if they aren't too tired (or they have homework they didn't do), I could take them into a practice room for about ten minutes in the mornings and maybe after school on Fridays. What do you think, Anthony? (And if I do do this, it'll probably wait until the third of fourth week of school, just so I can see who stays after school on Fridays a lot. Once I find that out, I'll work on a schedule... if you think it's a good idea.)

Good plan, Michael. I'm just a bit iffy on the 3-5 schedule.
One other thing I would like to do is basic marching from 2:45-3:00 like how we did last year.

Yeah, sounds good. I know it seems like a long time, especially for the freshmen, but they need the help. If they start improving to the point to where they're just past Victoria's level, then we can start shortening it to 3:00-4:30. But until then, I think we need the two-hour schedule. (Dryn's already there in his ability to read rhythms, and his range is better than the rest of the freshmen, but he could still use some work. The rest of the freshmen, though, aren't even close to Victoria's level... and I don't want to say this, but that's really bad.) Of course, I'll have to work this out with Josh and Conner.

By the way, Conner said he wants to be able to do circle drill at our first full brass sectional, so we need to get working on that right away during our first sectional.

Mr. Rice showed us the 2000 cadets last year. I remembered the part where each different section "challenged" each other, doing crazy stuff. The trumpets played someone else's instrument, LOL REMEMBER?!?!?

K I just watched the 2000 Cavaliers. Mr. Rice showed us that one too. I remembered the part where the colorguard falls down. When I first saw it I thought one of them tripped and then I realized it was part of the show xD.
I also remembered the fact that there are no female guard o.O

Mr. Rice didn't show it to us. We watched it in band class. But yeah, we've seen it before.
