I'm tired of it. It's taking a lot of will-power - and having friends in band - to not quit. (Just to make sure nobody takes this the wrong way, no, I am NOT quitting.)

Mr. Mote doesn't really want a small band of dedicated people. He wants a small band of obedient people, which is totally different than dedicated. He only cares about how easy his life is and an obedient band would make his job easy, even if it sucks for everyone else.

No, I'm not quitting. That's stupid. I'm skipping school tomorrow (senior skip day) and I'm telling people that I'm quitting. If anyone asks where I am tomorrow tell them I quit or I dropped out of school, or all of the above.
