Falco doesn't get any love! He is much better in Brawl than Melee, most notably because he is not a carbon copy of Fox anymore. (Different arials, kicks reflector, taunts, etc.) So why does nobody use/like him?

well, i never like falco or fox in melee. only person i liked was samus.
i always thouhgt they were hard to control...

i actually like falco better in brawl than in melee. his reflector is more of an interrupt attack than a defensive maneuver. i also like his overall play style in brawl better. in melee he was just a slower, higher jumping version of fox, but in brawl he's a little more agressive than fox. well that's the impression i get from him anyway. you can flame me all you want, i will not change my opinion of falco.

The only thing Falco's got in Brawl is chaingrabbing and laser-locking.
If you think Falco's reflector is for defensive purposes in Melee then you need to watch the video I posted above.

Just so you know, new character threads are to started on Mondays. I don't really care, but lets just keep the cycle for organization's sake. It's easier to keep track of if we always start on the same day.

ummm....i dont think thats possible! falco pretty much sucks! i mean the only good thing bout him (other than chain grabbing and laser locking) is that his side-b is a spike! they really nerfed fox and falco's brokenness! and now they suck!

Falco is apparently good (aka Smashboards), and I like him, but he is one of those characters that is definitely not a different Melee but completely new, for better or worse. Laserlocking is awesome, but probably a banned tactic.

I saw Bombsoldier (best japanase melee falco) use Brawl Falco and I didn't see anything good except chain grabs that hardly worked. |

I'll look up why, but maybe you are not using him correctly/ no one is a good Falco, or the noobs at smashboards that post in the tier list discussion think laserlocking is game breaking.

tripping is how it happens in a real match but u have to be ready prepared and have very good luck to do laser-locking in a for realz match!

Because Sakurai (creator of brawl) is a faggot and realized that in order to make a non-competitve game he would need to add in random occurences during matches.

I would have preferred any of that over tripping. You can't avoid tripping, but you can make the chances of which you cause your opponent to trip increase. (usually things like down tilts, try Lucas's down tilt xD)
