Let's try this again. Help My Team/Rate My Team
If you didn't read Robert's description, you post your team and we'll rip it to shreds. Format as so: Pkmn Name (Nature) -Hold Item @ability EV Spread in format [252 Atk/252 Def] -Move 1 -Move 2 -Move 3 -Move 4 Add a description of what this pkmn is supposed to do for your team.
You can post either individual pkmn or an entire team of 6. Teams should be no more than 6, but less than 6 if you don't know what else to add to your team.
Happy Rating!

I'm just starting to get into it, but some of Jimmy and Robert's knowledge rubbed off on me already, and I had the EV and IV stuff explained to me.

Anyone want to test my team now in the Shoddy Official server? I got banned from the Smogon server for the next 10 days.

My only thing is that Electavire really shines when his Motor Drive is activated, and you do not have anything that is weak to Electric, meaning you have to do some intense mindgames to get it to work.
Be careful of an intense Tyranitar. It could rape half of your team if you are not careful.
But not bad overall. GG.

What would be a good replacement for Houndoom? Jimmy said there are better pokemon for that slot, but didn't mention any.
I usually don't have problems with Tyranitar. Abamasnow sub punch has served me well in taking care of them, and if that fails I always have Breloom to fall back on.

I think your main problem is lack of a Defensive Wall. Really, problems with your team will really show up on Shoddy, the smashboards of Pokemon.

I don't want to go with the overdone Skarblissey wall, so what else is there? I can't do Tyranitar because that'll wreck my hail strategy.

I tried battling Robert yesterday but something kept happening where it didn't let us fight. This happened with Jimmy and I also, but it started to work after a while. We could give it a shot sometime later; I won't be able to do it today.

Anthony you just have internet problems. Check your firewall... it might be blocking incoming stuff (remember that i also couldn't send you anything over AIM.

Ok, I just checked my firewall settings. I think I added shoddy to the list of exceptions for my firewall. I'm not sure because the list called it "javaws". I'll have to test it out.
Jimmy, is there a way I can know for sure if my firewall is blocking shoddy?

That's a neat idea. We could have online tournaments and stuff. I'll leave it up to Robert or Jimmy to come up with ideas because they're the mods here and I'm lazy. But since you suggested it, you could come up with ideas too if you'd like.
