Frank: www.smogon.com has an exceptional tier list (in terms of layout, not necessarily in terms of choices) Just remember that in certain situations there are lower tier pkmn that work better than OUs. You just need the right team. OUs are considered OU because of their versatility and ability to work in many different situations. BLs and UUs work only in very specific situations, but you can create those situations with your team (sandstorm, hail, etc.) |

Yea, BL is always a good place to look. Most of the stuff there is just a semi-weaker clone of something in OU with something really cool like Focus Punch or is too frail.

Stealth Rock. Knocks out a nice 25% of HP every time it switches in, which is also why Houndoom/Moltres/almost every fire type is BL, because they are all designed as semi-glass cannons, fragile Pokemon that hit hard. Also, none of them really have good movepools, or if they do, something else can cover more types better.
Friendly Tip, the Smogon Server has updated with Platinum (which teaches many Pokemon many new moves), such as Donphan getting Seed Burst (super powerful grass attacks), hitting many counters on the switch, or every dragon in the game (Kingdra and, sadly, Salamence) get Dragon Dance and Outrage, a terrifying combo that only Steels can stop, and even then Salamence has Flamethrower. So, Kingdra is now OU and Salamence the new Garchomp.
