Awesome Land II: The War of Four Kings

Kayne was completely oblivious to them all jumped up and epicly kicked a large tree into three others forming a bed. He jumped quickly onto the large crazy comfy bed and took a nap. Vincent stared at random objects flying by 'cause he's got some ADD crap. (lol i am bored)

Sherri and Crass glanced at their cards as well. Each maintained the perfect poker (or blackjack) face.

They all waited for Leon to make his move. "I should warm ya, we're all professional blackjack players." Jace tried to unnerve Leon and Narrator.

[Duke Nukem]

Narrator looked at his hand without so much as twitching. He patiently waited for the hand to play out.

[Mizagium]

Crass moved first. He layed out his hand. 20. "Suck it?"

Sherri and Jace did not move.

[Mizagium]

(GAME ON HOLD! I HAVE TO TURN OFF COMPUTER!)

[DERRICK]

Larus rattled off 3 shots of his bolter, all three implanted themselves within the traitor's skull.
Larus then unleashed a holocaust of psychic energy at the blood thirster.
"The monstrosities of the Warp have no place to hide!" He proclaimed as he jabbed his halberd into the daemon.

[Myrdraxxis]

Mista Jangles roared in pain and grabbed the halberd that now stuck out of him. He ripped it out of him and yanked it forward, causing Larus to tumble towards the waiting daemon. The bloodthirster swiped at Larus's head with his axe.

Zais blinked as he watched Kayne. "Ummm yeah anyways...I have a proposition for you. How would you like...an army?"

[DERRICK]

Larus ducked and rolled out of the way. He looked the beast straight in its eye, and cast a bolt of psionic energy at it. He then unleashed another psychic barrage upon the daemon, while chanting praises to the Emperor.

Immortal Emperor, strong to save
Whose Hand doth stay the warp-storm wave;
O send Thy Light in darkness fell
And shine the narrow way through Hell
O watch us, ever mindful be
Of those who fight and die for Thee!

Kayne woke up as he heard army.
"What kind of army?" Kayne lol'd.

Zais chuckled. "Why... MY army." he said. "As it stands I could use someone to command my troops as I deal with.....certain details. From what I have seen you would fit the job nicely."

[Myrdraxxis]

Mista Jangles rears back and hisses in pain as he hears the Grey Knight speak. With a howl he hurls his remaining axe at Larus, burying it deep in the marine's chest. Larus grunts, but keeps chanting. The daemon screams now, the divine chant beginning to take it's hold. Larus sees his chance and lunges forward, stabbing Mista Jangles directly through the skull. Mista Jangles freezes, and then slumps to the ground, dead. His body quickly dissolves into warp-fire.

Larus nods and turns back to the corpses of the Chaos marines. He is jerked back suddenly as bolter rounds hit his shoulder. the second Chaos marine, barely alive, holds a bolter in one hand and shoots off another round. The rounds tear into Larus's holy armor. Larus gasps in pain and shoots the traitor marine in the head with his storm bolter. The Chaos soldier falls over dead.

Why are you speaking in present tense when the entire story has been told in past tense since the story started?

I think Larus needs his own world. He's not doing anything related to Awesome Land. He's off in his own little world chanting to evil gods to kill demons and other soldiers, while everyone else is off doing their own epic things that are actually related to Awesome Land's plot in some way. Everyone else has an explanation of how they got to where they are right now. Larus and Zais are the only ones who just randomly appeared out of nowhere. Where in Awesome Land is Larus!?!?)

simple answers......I just now noticed I was typing in present tense (oops) as for randomly appearing....I only joind the smash boards a couple of days ago. Aaaand finally....Awsome land has a plot? lol it seems people were just doing random things till I showed up.(though I do agree about Larus)

(The plot develops as it goes. Yes, we were doing random things, but (usually) we work together to make a (somewhat) sensible story. Not always the case with Narrator, but he's more with the story now, and he actually has a part in the plot, unlike at the beginning of Awesome Land, but that's just who he is.)

Kayne thought for a second about having his own army.
"Nah to much responsibility." Kayne walked over to the table spreading his consciousness to each competitor following Leon's suggestion/demand. So far no cheating but at the first sign they do they'll regret it.

Zais sighed. "Dang it. oh well." he decided to just ditch the Chaos army and pursue bigger and better things.
Like watching the Goof Troop over there play blackjack. Zais leaned back and watched the game, forgetting the fact that he just let a leaderless army of bloodthirsty fanatics loose in Awsome Land.

Suddenly, Derp-bot stepped through a portal in the Narrator Dimension and appeared right above the Chaos army. He opened a compartment in his "chest" and a myriad of kandiez fell on top of the bloodthirsty army. They were blood-flavored kandiez, specially made to appease the Chaos army.

Satisfied with his work, Derp-bot returned to the Narrator Dimension and emerged in Groovy Land on the roof of the Tower of Science (the Narrator Dimension had, unfortunately, been left slightly open, and a random Chaos soldier's head asploded, the soldier's armor and spear crashing through the portal and into Derp-bot, after which he donned the armor, attached the spear to his metallic arm, and closed the portal).

"Derp derp derp derp," Derp-bot derped. Roughly translated, "That was oddly convenient."

Meanwhile, at Lake Awesome, Cha Cha was standing over Sarah, waiting for her to regain consciousness. A day had already gone by, and he hadn't had any sleep, but he refused to rest until he was sure Sarah was okay, and that the Perverted Fat Guy wasn't going to go Perverted Kung Fu on them in their sleep.

"Sorry, Zento," Cha Cha said. "If you want, you can go look around the forest. But it's dangerous to go alone, so take this."

Near the edge of the forest, just out of earshot from Cha Cha and Zento, a dark portal formed a closed. A dark-haired youth stepped out and observed his surroundings.

How long had he been in the Pocket of Darkness? It felt like months but was probably only a few hours. Time passes slowly when you can't find the light...

The True Sword was no longer in his possession, he had lost in the Pocket. Instead, he now wielded the katana Katakari.

He heard a familiar voice from the lake shore. ~Cha Cha~ Johnny's sense came rushing back to him. And he remembered the night of Hurricane Ike.

~If Cha Cha is here, then maybe Sarah is too~ Johnny ran down to the shore. "Cha Cha!" He called.
