I made an agreement with myself that I would take everything Mote says literally and do everything exactly the way he says (in other words, without a trumpet marching leader, make the trumpet section the worst marching section and show Mote how FAIL his plan was and make him change it). That plan seems to be failing, so I've stopped now. Anthony and Geoff are now helping with pass offs.

Yeah, basically Michael thought of that plan at the very beginning of band camp but I told him not to do it because the trumpet section is always supposed to be the best. ALWAYS.
I DON'T CARE IF WE HAVE MORE ROOKIES THAN ANY OTHER SECTION COMBINED AHAHAHHAHA
but yeah, I think if the section leader says it's okay for someone else to pass-off another person then it's okay.
