"The DS is going to be a third pillar. It will in no way replace the Game Boy Advance." - The crackpots and liars at Nintendo.
Let's face it. The GBA is dead. Nintendo just won't admit it because doing so will cut into their sales. In fact, they probably won't admit it until the entire company is long gone. Even though it is gone, however, it had some of the greatest games ever made. This thread is made in honor of the Game Boy Advance; use it to discuss some of your favorite games for the system. Also, since Nintendo refused to make the DS backwards compatible with the old Game Boy/Game Boy Color (most likely to take more money from their loyal consumers) post your favorite GB games too.
Well, now that that pointless introduction is over, I would like to start by stating one of my favorite GBA games: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. It gave the series a new enemy that wasn't a weird pig demon, and even after beating it there is still a lot to do besides getting all the empty bottles, which is rare in a Zelda title.
My favorite GB(C) games are of course, Pokemon RBY, Pokemon GS (NOT Crystal. Having to catch all the legendary dogs before getting Ho-Oh is just stupid.) and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. <3
Dragonwarrior 3 was actually a good turn-based RPG.
Silver was my favorite Pokemon game they ever made. I remember cursing my lungs out when my batteries died just as I caught Lugia.

I never had anything past GBC lolololol
My favorites were the Pokemon games, but I totally pwned Silver Version by catching (and trading) all 251 Pokemon without a Gameshark, and I trained several of my Pokemon to level 100. It turns out my Party of 6 Pokemon are some of the strongest in the game AKA TYPHLOSION (I've got 2).

My Silver and GBC were stolen after one of my old houses burned down...Apparently the people in that neighborhood were highly skilled in climbing burned rubble...I REALLY WANT TO KILL THE B@$T@RD WHO STOLE MY F***ING SILVER VERSION!!!!!!!!
Pardon my language, but that moment was just ridiculous. "HEHE, hey kid were sorry ur house brnd down, so we're liek stealing ur silver and your Gameboy, k?"

Golden Sun and Fire Emblem. 'Nuf said. Those are two of the best GBA games in my opinion. The original Fire Emblem is better than the Sacred Stones. It was a lot more difficult because of the 31 chapters, the extra side chapters, and inability to level up in between chapters.

Golden Sun Golden Sun: The Lost Age Fire Emblem
^Best games for GBA. Golden Sun series is, to this day, my favorite game.
Fire Emblem was a game that I beat in like 2 days because it was so good, then put it down for 2 years. I found it in my little bag and played it religiously for like 3 weeks, beating it over 7 times and unlocking every character. Even after I had every character, I started the game over in order to train and discover who the ultimate characters were. The best team, I think I concluded, was:
Raven, Athos, Hector, (Canas?)/(Pent?), and I THINK Nino gets REALLY good if you level her all the way up. I never did it, but I heard she gets way better than Pent.

The only one of those GBC titles I have never played is Dragon Warrior 3, but the rest of those games I enjoy so I'll have to check it out. Buu's Fury should be added to the GBA list since it's the sequel to Legacy of Goku 2.

As a side note, anyone else here played Dragon Warrior 3? Rob and Katie have, so I'll need 1 more recommendation before I illegally down-I mean buy this from amazon.com.

No game is too long for me! Compared to other RPG's, what would you say the length is? For example, compare it to FFVII or Legend of Dragoon.

Let's go through the one's everyone has said: Silver, FE:SS (kinda played 1st one and need to play it).
I loved Pokemon Pinball Ruby/Sapphire (crack in video game form), KH:Chain of Memories (more crack to me , but it was one of those games with an extreme spectrum of hate and love [no happy medium]), and that's all I had besides Super Mario Bros 3 (good game but not really fair as not truly a GBA game) and BK: Grunty's Revenge (good, but BK and BT were better).
O, and Lucco, the GC and Wii Fire Emblems are PUNISHING they are so hard. They had to take the hardest difficulty off the American version because they thought we weren't prepared (I'm dead serious).

triple the length of dragoon if you don't know what you're doing. double the length if you do know what you're doing.
