My favorite match between Dogy and I is the one on Pokemon Stadium, My Ganon vs. his Doc. It's a really good match.

I just watched it. Very nice display of smart playing and taking advantage of the other person's openings (AKA last kill). There were several opportunities that Doc could have caped you, but I guess he just didn't think about it at the time. I liked how you used Ganon's fair for spacing. I should start using c-stick for my aerials so I can DI with greater ease and so I won't accidentally do a bair when I mean to do a retreating fair.

yeah, I rape the c-stick. Noobs say it's 'cheap', but then they realize that I'm beating the shit out of them because I'm using the c-stick

Do you use gamer claw or do you just move your thumb whenever you need the c-stick?

I -wish- I could gamer claw. I use my thumbs for everything. I never pretty the R or X buttons, it's weird. Most people use R for wavedashing

I never use R or X either, but I probably should so it'll be easier to wavedash out of shield. I wish I could claw too. There are a few Melee players at Etowah that use it, but it was hard for them to get out of the regular controller set-up.

I used to use the R and X buttons as my jump and shield buttons, but i never used the Y or L buttons. I was talking to some people at one of our tourneys while Jason was playing and I noticed his hands. I figured out that short hopping is a lot easier with the Y button, and though it took me a while, i now use both shoulder buttons for shielding, wavedashing, etc.

Shorthopping for most is easier to do with X because you can chip it off the side and it does a quick shorthop. I use Y because I can press buttons really fast. X is used (for most people) to do the multi-shines in Melee. I can't link together attacks with X because I'm so used to Y, though.

I've always used Y because the A button is right underneath. When I got interested in competitive smash I just taught myself to short hop with Y since I've always used it.

ill believe that. i use pikachu alot and definitely his best move when it comes out overall is his thunderbolt- good knockback, great range, can serve as an aerial, and is a good group weapon

Using tap jump is a really bad idea (tap jump = up on the analog stick).
It hardly gives you any control with short hops, and without short hops that means you are limited in approach, and it means if someone is in short hop distance and you accidentally full hop then you miss your opportunity for damage/kills. I suggest to break that habit at all costs and just use Y for jumping.
Pikachu's thunderbolt is an ok move... His best move is no doubt his downsmash or nair. The thing about thunderbolt is that it is awfully predictable, and the only real time that it is amazing is when used off stage for edgeguarding. Watch Anther play as Pikachu. He is insane.
