EHS Smash has been online for a year! That's right, it all started April 1st (no joke 
). Despite the recent inactivity, I can say I am proud of everything that has happened here. We have 15,672 posts, 512 topics, 40+ members, and on average 15+ members check the site daily. We have had 10 very successful Brawl tournaments to date, and the SoS tournament coming soon!
Our site was even hacked! We must be popular. Actually, if you didn't figure it out, I was the one who hacked the site. I was pretty desperate to draw attention to the site. I was planning an epic puzzle where Thcb Tester hacked my account, and made you all do puzzles to find out who his true identity was. I am far too lazy to actually follow through, however.
Anyways, through this site, we have seen many players progress, we have seen a few fellow smashers quit (Frank, Chester), and we have seen some even rise to the top (Jeff Powell).
We have seen the change in the tier lists, from Wolf, Pit, and Ike being the best characters in the game to Meta Knight, Snake, and Falco. New pros have risen and disproven the tier lists: Biglou, Reflex, and all those Sonic mains. We've seen unbelievable acts of Wario beating DDD by people such as Futile, Reflex, and Fiction. We've witnessed the great M2K been overcome by players such as Ninja Link.
We have even gone back to old fads such as Yugioh and Pokemon. The Yugioh craze went away just as fast as it came in (lolz).
I don't know what else to say. All I know is that we've gone through a lot on this site and I'm glad it was spent with you guys.
Regarding My Poll Question:
I don't see the site coming back to life in the future. I have had this on my mind for a while: I think we should move on to the state. At first this sounds intimidating, but the kids out there are really cool and would have great input. I know this might seem like a sense of intrusion in our tight community, but these are people that will not judge you for being yourself. The story sections will no doubt grow larger, we would have more spam in the misc section, but we would also have a SERIOUS brawl section. This is a great way for those of you who want to get serious about smash to get the know the community a little better.
So, do you think we should make "GA Smash"?
