RIP EHS Smash Forums -------------------------- Only for a while. I'm sure all of you have noticed that the site has had no activity for about a week now. I'm pretty tired of trying to run the site and giving it short bursts of life. It's time to give it a break. Now, I don't want to totally kill the site, but I think what we all need is a break and then come back and give it another shot. I'm planning on leaving the site in solitaire until winter break. I know this doesn't sound like a long enough break, but I want to do it before then just in case we plan a Smash event (I'm setting dates with Willis and Jeff). I will still be checking on the site every now and then. Don't expect any posts from me, I'll just be checking that everything is in order and no one surprise 4channed us. - I will recruit new and old members. The main source of life for these forums are the members, and if we want to keep a healthy site, we will need new members and we will need the old members.
- I will make a forum archive and in it I will place old threads that are taking up space and that make the boards disorganized.
- I will reassign mod powers. It is obvious that some current mods/admins are very inactive and do not deserve the right to keep their status. Basically, I will clean everyone of their mod powers, then we will have to nominate people for each specific board, and then vote for 1 or 2 mods for that board. Tyler C will still be the Governor of the Misc. boards.
- I will decide if we want this site to still revolve around Smash. The site turned out to be more "Nerds Chill Here and Lol".
Go ahead and discuss. I'll still be responding to this thread. Sorry, you will not be paid for business vacation. |

SHUT UP ABOUT YOURSTORY. I like the "keep it here for the tournaments" idea. If we do plan a tournament, we can just let everyone know at school and then plan it on the site. That way people will know when to check for important thangs.

I don't think that's going to happen. Being sister sites wouldn't make sense at all. They have nothing in common besides the story section (which died a long time ago).

I know the stories REALLY REALLY helped the site. I'm just saying they died a while ago. But give me a reason why a smash site should be a sibling to a stories site.
