yea its finally monday and that means time for a new character discussion! yea!!! ok wel i think zero suit samus could easily be high teir, she is very fast very stong has good range, tether recovery and she is hot! (which is the best mind game of all) with her speed she can easily out run and dodge oppenents atacks on the bigger stages and just own them on the liettle ones especially when versing someone like D3 or bowser her ranged can keep people at a distance (which is never a bad thing) and still do decent damage! Her tether recovery can help her recover at a distance with out having to fear edgeguarding being her ultimate doom (note i never said anything about edgehogging) and the fact that she is hot means she can distract her oppenent (unless its a straight girl or gay guy) and can therefore destroy them due to their lack of attention on fighting!

Way to start a thread at 7:30...that's a little crazy. And obsessive. No props for you.

one thing about the mind game still bugs me. what if the person you are playing against actually knows the difference between fantasy and reality? sexual orientation has little to do with Zamus being hot.
anyway, Zamus is pretty good because of how fast she is, her projectile/whip can keep people away, and the fact that she still a bit strong. the downside to Zamus is the fact that she can't, like other light characters, take a hit. your best bet with Zamus is to out run your opponents while still putting in some good hits. a hit-and-run tactic if i may say.

The best Zamus strategy is to get your opponent off the stage, and do your up-b move right underneath them. It's a spike and you can still use Zamus's down-b for recovering back to the stage. Zero Suit Samus has very good range on many of her attacks and she can string her attacks together. Her aerials are fast and powerful. At the beginning of the match, you can use her armor parts as projectiles and derp kill an unsuspecting opponent at Final Destination. Etc.

no one cares if its biased, we just turn the threads into faggotry topics or into threads about completely unrealated characters.

Yeah, Snake is the least original character ever. He totally ripped off Luigi's 'nades and Ness's mines. It's like he's a Frankenstein of other character's moves.

She needs to be killed immediately! Her side B is evil! EEEEEEEVIL!
Ahem...Anyway, I hate her side B. It's taken out many players at low percentages. Good thing it only works well if it hits with the tip.

we wont know who is really "broken" until everyones metagame comes out and we know how to use their moves most effectivly, she might still be broken, or might not!

Well that's true for most characters. It's fairly obvious that characters like Snake are broken and characters like Yoshi are not.

I've been toying around with ZSamus for about 2 weeks now, and I've come to some solid conclusions.
She's good, but she has a very tough time with small characters like Olimar and Squirtle. This is due to her height and her attacks hitting really high up (her shorthop is really big). She's powerful, but her only two solid kill moves are side B and bair, both of which aren't really that hard to hit. Her grab can be really good due to dthrow able to start a combo well with uair chains, but if you miss, even Ike can punish her with an fsmash to the booty.
Her recovery is good, nowhere near as bad as Ivysaur or Olimar's. When I make my combo video, I Have an awesome clip with Default's first experience against ZSamus. The main beauty of ZSamus is her projectiles in the beginning of the fight. They're hard-hitting (10% each time) and very fast so they're hard to avoid. I usually get a kill just by using only those my first stock.
All in all, I'd say ZSamus is right there around low-high tier or high-mid, right under/below Lucario or Olimar. That's my two cents.

I usually get a kill just by using only those my first stock. The first time I experienced a fight against ZSS, I didn't realize my opponent could use the armor parts at the beginning of the match. I ended up dying...got trapped under final destination lol. Have you tried using any of her 3 spikes? Down Special, Down Aerial, and Up Special? They're hard to pull off though, except Up Special is pretty easy but tricky to survive.

dair isn't really a spike, if it is it's a really bad one (kind of like Falco's forward B. That thing is pathetic)
I use downB for recovery purposes only.

They pretty much nerfed all spikes. They're all hard to sweet spot and if you do happen to hit someone with a spike it's still pretty easy to survive unless you're falco or wario with poor vertical recoveries.

Yeah, Luigi's spike is really hard to do now. You have to sweetspot it around the buttocks to hit them down. In Melee, all you have to do is hit with it. There was no sweetspot for it.

His down taunt spike is still good.
EDIT -> BUT SUPER SITUATIONAL AND NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO HIT WITH.
