Assuming that your computer isn't as old as mine is, you should have a program called WinZIP. If not, use the internets to find WinZIP or WinRAR and download it. Mmm, the game mechanics of Pokemon and YGO are entirely different. Minus the online play I'm sure I could easily program something like Shoddy what with only 500 Pokemon and so many attacks. Yugioh has 4000 cards and ridiculously more complex game mechanics (Replays, Multiple Battle Steps, etc.) Comparing the two would be ridiculous. Regardless, the program makes dueling over the internet much more simple than through AIM, and I'll stay true to that opinion.
Pokemon's game mechanics are just as complex as YVD's. It's not just amounts of monsters, it's the formulas for damage calculation, stats, ect. that makes it complicated to program. YVD SUCKS ASS.

Yes, and everyone of those formulae has already been taken from the game, decoded, and can easily be found on the Pokemon wiki, serebii.net, etc. I'm sure that a search on Google could easily find the formulae for damage calculation and stats. There is nothing complicated about entering the already located pieces of data into a new computer program.

Enough with the Phoenix Wright crap. As much as I hate to say, it he's partially right. The damage formulas are already decoded and widely available. But I don't understand how that affects whether or not it is difficult to enter the program.
There are more cards yes, but Pokemon's formulas are needlessly complicated. Damage calculation, deciding who attack first in a quick attack battle, grass knot, there's a move that gain attack based on what item you hold, there's another that is determined by the berry you hold, hit percentage, defense calculations. All of that has to be put into the Shoddy. there are no hidden formulas in Yu-Gi-Oh! everything is available from the beginning. So I don't want to hear that Yu-Gi-Oh! is more complicated than Pokemon and that is the reason why YVD sucks.

Calculating the stuff in Pokemon is a breeze. Storing Pokemon's stats as variables is something I could do in my sleep. Then saying something like "if speed.PokemonA > speed.PokemonB PokemonA --> FirstAttack." Hit percentage, defense calculations, all of that stuff is easily programmed, even more so with all of the formulae readily available. Now insult my program once more without making a VALID argument and I'll eliminate you.

Ok. I think we all understand that Shoddy is far more superior to YVD. However, YVD is just there to download if you are more of a visual person or want to use cards you don't have. Let's get another thing straight. Ripping the coding off any official yugioh program isn't hard. It may take lots of testing, but people can do it. They hacked the Wii to make all downloadable games free, and they hacked brawl to make it awesome-atastic. People taking programming classes in college can easily do a lot of the advanced stuff, and I'm sure if anyone put effort into making YVD good, it can be done.

Nice try, Austin, but you can't cover up your lost argument that easily. You don't have that power.
I'm going to say this once in as nice a way as possible:
Shut the hell up.
I've no desire to continue this argument nor have I lost my list of reasons for its defense. I could argue on pointlessly over the Internet for hours but I wouldn't accomplish anything. End of discussion.

You act like you're the one that wrote the program. Don't take it personally, but I don't like the way it's written. It's needlessly complicated and they don't seem to be doing anything about it. Anyways, if you actually DID care as much as you seem to (as demonstrated by the way you got angry right there) you wouldn't give up the argument you were heartily taking part in so readily. Take a chill pill, bro.

Ugh...Curse you Lucco. You have said something annoyingly...wise, I suppose, and I've no counter. You win this round and I shall leave the argument with the fact that everyone has their own opinions. I can't force you to change them...But I can make you all see the Light.

It consists of 3 snipe hunters, 3 spirit reapers, 3 sinister serpents, 3 painful choices, and other cards that help the flow such as armageddon knight and pot of greed. Even though this deck is banned to hell, I challenge anyone to a friendly duel that isn't an OTK deck and battle with each other until we get sick of banned cards.
It wasn't even the right Chaos deck. I'll mod it to be Ultimate later
Oh, and Willis and I made some 'final touches' on his DM deck. Once he gets all the stuff for it, it's going to be awesome. I decided I'm going to make a final attempt at making a successful Silent Magician deck.
Kinda, yeah. Like, a lot of Chaos cards are in it (such as Sorcerer, Soldier, Emperor Dragon). Chaos End isn't in it, though, and a lot of the theme cards released with IOC are bad.
Chaos is simply just a deck with pretty much nothing but dark/light monsters in it that work together in order to get out Soldier/Sorcerer and just kill people. It's really good at summoning more than one monster at a time. I remembered some cards that were in my original deck the other night, such as Reflect Bounder and Exiled Force. Exiled isn't necessarily awesome in the deck because he's Earth, but Reflect Bounder is basically amazing in it. Reflect Bounder also isn't limited to 1 anymore, so 3 should be in every burn deck IMO

I just copied everything in the zip folder and pasted it into the images folder
