Heh, it's been quite a while since my last post, and I figured I'd make this post special. Welcome to the 2008 EHS Smash Forum Election! This election is to help keep the forums alive, provide fun while doing it, and secure my ultimate power in the process...Ahem, anyway, the goal for this election is to make a thrilling campaign that will entice others to vote for you as Miscellaneous Forum Governor! As you all may have noticed, this section of the forums is nothing but spam and junk that needs to be cleared. Although this is for miscellaneous and real life discussions, often times these things get out of hand. Obviously the only logical course of action was to take it upon myself to host the election. On December 25th the winner will be announced and will be given the exclusive right to govern the Miscellaneous section (even though such a power is virtually worthless.) The winner will also be allowed to enter BBQ's private council, open only to those of high power. As a bonus, the winner gets a cool title and some karma. So without further ado, let's explain the rules:
Rules for Running
1) You must have posted at least once after December 1st, excluding all posts made after this thread.
2) You must have a post count of 500 or higher. (This is to ensure that no noobs run.)
3) You must have made a total of at least five (5) meaningful posts throughout the Smash related sections of the Forums.
4)To make sure that there are are voters, I am only allowing 3 people to run for Governor. Those three will be the first to post on this thread "I am running for Governor of the Miscellaneous Section."
Other Rules:
1) You may only vote for one (1) candidate. After you have voted, you may NOT change your mind. Be sure that you like this candidate.
2) In the event of a tie, the Governor will be chosen by our current President, BBQ.
3) In the event that no one votes, the Governor will be chosen by our current President, BBQ.
4) After the election, the Governor will be allowed to choose one (1) person to act as your Vice Governor. This person needs to have at least 350 posts and 2 Karma.
5) Hahaha...In the event that no one decides to participate, I'll obliterate Awesome Land as well as having the Governor appointed by BBQ.
Now get out there and start running. I'll have a Primaries thread once I have the candidates.
