Kronos casually walked into this hellish swirl of chaos. He took out a pistol and pointed at the stands.
"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. I wonder where this bullet will go- BAM!"
Julius Haezman, the leader of the leftest side of the senate, fell into the hot, hard, sticky asphalt.
"What a mess!" said Kronos as the entire crowd looked at the dead body of a respected senator, and then at the mechanized being who killed him.

Vincent passed by Kronos without much care. At least he was helping them. Vincent whipped out the two blades on his side and the Lancelot cut open the large Senate doors. The mechs dshed inside.

the Senators scrambled to the interior of the Senatorial building while the Enforcement held a steadily retreating line against the mechs. Their own crystal pulse rifles were running low on ammo and their Siphon grenades did little to take the mechs energy away.
The door to the Senate Hall slammed shut and the Enforcement backed against the wall. As much as they wanted to flee, they had their orders. Orders which were repeatedly shouted by superior officers.
Another battalion of Enforcement stormed in through double-doors on either side of the lobby. Enough troops amassed to push the mechs back outside the building, even as their ammo began to run out.
Suddenly, a loud roar sounded all through Dynasty City. Building shook, and light flickered. Both sides of the conflict stopped fighting to locate the source of the sound. It came again, this time much closer. A fierce gust rushed down the side of the Senatorial building and outward, scattering Enforcement and mechs alike.
The ground shook as the Gargoyle landed. It was a huge dragon-like creature that towered over the mechs and Enforcement. A large metal ring was around its neck and several more were around its arms and legs. Only its wings and tail were unchained. The chains led away and up from the beast, tethered to unseen airships.
It let out another roar and stomped through the Enforcement, killing several under its great feet and went after the mechs, teeth and claws slashing and biting wildly.

The Lancelot slowed, as did the Gloucesters. "What the hell is that thing?" one asked over the speaker. Inside the Lancelot, Vincent shrugged.
"Who cares. We have our opening! Go!" the mechs surged forward, trying to remain unseen in the wake of the giant creature. When they got near the Enforcment, The machine guns on the Cloucesters' chests open fired, killing several of the troops. Lancelot swung his massive blades, cleaving through another few. The mechs entered the Senate building and began to spread out. Small firefights opened up but were easily dealt with. Finally they arrived at the central chamber.
"Its locked sir." B-4 reported. Vincent scoffed, and began typing something into Lancelot's interface. The mech brought its blades up and slashed the doors apart with ease.
He pulled out his rifle and pointed it a a huddled group of Senate politicians. "For the Templar!" Vincent shouted and fired. There was nothing left of the group.

(Yeah, but they didn't get to them yet. the Gargoyle is outside the building, along with the mechs and Enforcement. They have to go inside the building and then inside another hall)

The Gargoyle turned to the mechs, partly because of his own interests, but mostly because of the electric shocks delivered to him through the metal collars. He was being forced to fight.
He reached for one mech and crushed it between his hands and threw it outside, then reached with his jaws and caught another one.
A detachment of the Enforcement arrived to escort the Senators to safety. They held back the mech and stayed clear of the Gargoyle while the Senators loaded into a carrier airship. The airship sped away and disappeared into the city.
"Fall back!" Came the order. Shouts of "Retreat!" sounded throughout the Enforcement. Smoke grenades were tossed, clouding the vision of everyone. A sudden shock forced the Gargoyle to halt its earlier forced attack. It raised its leathery wings and took to the skies, led by airships holding the chains. The wind stirred up by his wings cleared the smoke.
The Enforcement was gone, the Senators were safe. The building was empty.

Vincent sighed in the cocpit of the Lancelot. They lost only seven men. Five Glassgows and those two GLoucesters that the strange beast killed. All in all it was a mild victory.
Low casualties. Also, the Senate had not come out unscathed. At least a third of the Senators had been killed by either the Templars or the Gargoyle. Also quite a few Enforcers had been killed.
The Templars had shown themselves to the world.
"Ok boys, head back to HQ. We are done for today." Vincent said. There were whoops of joy and excitment echoing from the comm channel. The men were in high moral. Even with that mysterious being. The Dynasty Templars sped away, ready to strike again.
And strike again they would.

Senator Cassy Bur-Mo did a preliminary head count of the Senators.
43.
That means 17 were killed by the Dynasty Templars. She counted again.
43.
About a third were dead. She smiled in spite of herself. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The Enforcement would impose stricter protection, the citizens patriotism would be tapped, raising support for the city, and the Heroes and Villains would be thrown into turmoil again.
At least she was alive.

A man with a trench coat walked into city hall. His face was concealed by the shadow of his hat. As he walked up to "Front Desk 274" he felt the anxiety of all the people working there. Some were biting their nails, others were shaking as if they just swam across a frozen lake. Who could blame them? The Resistance finally made themselves public. "Worthless anarchists," said the man in the trench coat.
"Can i help you with something?" asked the secretary in "Front Desk 274". "I would like to schedule a meeting with Senator Cassy," replied the man. "It must be your lucky day," said the secretary, "She just happens to have an opening tonight at 8:30." "I'll take it," said the man as he glanced down at his watch. "You can take a seat over there," she said as she pointed to an incredibly crowded waiting room. As the man walked towards the waiting room, the secretary noticed a glimmer from underneath the shadow of his hat. 'Is that man wearing a bicycle helmet?' thought the secretary as she reached for her "aspirin".
Glitch sat in a corner near a window. He was finally getting his chance to talk to a senator face to face.

Withing the room full of shaken Senators, one hidden in the corner, smiled maliciously. That had been a most enjoyable display of carnage. A man walked over.
"Hey, Sam. How ya feeling?" he asked. The evil smile was quickly replaced by one of gentle caring and kindness.
"Ah Im fine, thank you Jack. How about you? That attack was horrifying." he said in a friendly tone. Jack smiled.
"I'm fine. I just cant figure out why anyone would attack us. We lead the people!" Jack sounded genuinly shocked. Inwardly, Sam smirked. Jack was one of the few Senators that actually wanted to help the city.
"I don't know Jack. All we can do is hope they get irradicated swiftly." Sam replied. Jack nodded and walked off, clearly bothered by the whole thing. The evil grin came back.
Yes, they would ALL be irradicated.

Senator Cassy slumped against a wall, still reeling from the attack. She ran both her hands over her face. Her personal communicator buzzed in her pocket.
You have 1 new message from: Secretary
'What?' Cassy though as she read the message. 'why would my secretary schedule an appointment now?' Perhaps she hadn't heard of the attack yet. The news was probably off-air right now while the events were filtered. Those in the heart of Dynasty knew about the attack both those on the outskirts of the megalopolis probably would not know for several hours.
Good ol' censorship.
The meeting was scheduled for 8:30. It was 5:37 right now. She had time to wash and return to her office. She frowned. Most likely the meeting was someone from the Heroes trying to bribe her to vote for their side. She stopped.
Or it could be an assassin that failed at the attack. She decided she would come prepared. Unlike many of the other Senators, Cassy had actual combat experience, albeit on the side of the Villains. Bu that was before...
A faint glimmer of hope made its way into her thoughts. Maybe it was J. She would have to wait and see.

Sean bid farewell to his friends, all at the abandoned store in a remote corner of Dynasty City. He rarely went there since an incident that happened when he was 15. It had been around 5 years since then and he still hadn't fully recovered emotionally.
"If you're really going to leave, Sean, then take this communicator." said Marty, a close friend but antithesis to Sean. Sean pocketed the communicator, understanding that he should contact them if he ever needed to do so.
"Take care of yourself and the rest of our family, Hacker." Sean laughed as he approached the exit to the abandoned store.
"You too, Mind Freak." Marty laughed as well, though there was no reason to. "Make sure to return for us, and if you need some assistance I'll be there." Marty finished, turning away to look at his laptop. Unnecessary as his laptop was, he used it as opposed to his WiFi sunglasses to keep attention away from himself.
Sean said one more "Goodbye" before grabbing his suitcase, carrying his Dynasty Hero uniform and a small, golden dagger. He touched the dagger and his arm began to tremble. It was the dagger that had almost killed him 5 years ago, and he was not yet ready to use it. He put on his DH uniform and ran out of the door to the main area of Dynasty City, keeping the dagger with him only to use as a last resort.

Glitch sat in the corner until 8:29:36. He timed his steps so that he would get to the door of the senator's office at exactly 8:30. He knocked on he door before coming in.

Once again, the Dynasty Templars sat around their meeting table. Vincent stood in the corner.
"Well doen everyone." One spoke. "We have shown this city tht there are those who will NOT stand for their corruption."
everyone cheered.
"Another issue has come up." Another leader said. "We have recieved a very large sum of money from a mysterous benefactor. Someone supports our cause apparently." the man finished with a smile.
More cheering.
Vincent cocked his head thoughtfully. A benefactor? Who would possibly cast in with them so soon?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sam sat in his office, overlooking the nighttime Dynasty City with hands folded in front of his face.
"Hehe, this will get things going. If the terrorists have better armaments, the more they will fight. And the more people will die."
His laughter echoed throught the spacios office.
"Come in." Senator Cassy answered Glitch's knocking." She had raced into the building to get to her office on time, taking the back entrance to avoid being seen running late. She WAS a Senator after all.
Vincent strode down a random street of Dynasty City, yet again. This time, he was looking for someone in particular.
Someone important.
There was a Senator that was said to have less than content attitudes towards the current government.
While Vincent disliked politicians in general, he knew that having someone on the inside would be valuable. So here he was, outside the Senate building.
Contruction had happened fast, much rebuilt from their recent attack. Vincent sucked in his breath and entered the building.
The shadowy man looked down at the sprawling megalopolis. He hovered high enough above the surface that the entirety of Dynasty City was laid out before him. From Sea to Sea. He wrapped himself in layer upon layer of darkness so that even the searchlights of the Enforcement could not spot him.
The city disgusted him.
He remembered before Dynasty rose up, before the world became a fearful place. He remembered everyone he had lost.
He pushed aside those thoughts and descended to the city. He could leave any time he wanted to, but he had a job to complete. People depended on him.
