So I went into Mr. Mote's office after practice today to talk to Mr. Rice about my visual ideas. All of a sudden, Mote starts talking to Mr. Rice about this email he just got. He was offered a gig to play in the pit orchestra for a musical for another school. He sent Mr. Rice the email. Then, out of nowhere, he said, "I think Michael could probably do this too."
So I've been offered a gig..... for $800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now here's where I need help. The EHS musical, Oklahoma, is next week. And that's the same time as this other gig (Cinderella). I need to, either find another person to play my part for Oklahoma so I can play for Cinderella, or I can play for Oklahoma. I need either Anthony or Katie to play for Oklahoma. (Just so you know, the pit music isn't really that hard to learn. It's just a bunch of really weird key signatures. I managed to learn the music for Joseph within a few days last year.) Yeah..... so, I need help. And I'd be willing to pay (duh) if either of you can play next week.
