Anyways, Sheik has less techs than Derrick does, but one useful thing is the reverse aerial neutral b, also called "reverse needle cancel". It allows you to turn the opposite direction without having to use your jump. It's hard at first but once you get the timing down it's as easy as winning with metaknight.
Basically it's only useful if you want to grab the edge and you are facing the wrong way or if you are running towards an opponent to edgeguard and you want to go for a back air. But this is how you do it: In the air, use neutral b quickly press the opposite direction put analog stick back to neutral
I think that's how to do it lolol.

I don't think it's THAT useful. I only see Captain Jack use it and it didn't really change sheik's gameplay.
One thing to do with Sheik:
Always down-throw. Don't even bother with any other throw. Down-throw will set-up into either another d-throw or a super combo fair finisher. Robbie would be a much better sheik if he grabbed more.

It's called jump-canceled grab/upsmash
You usally jump-cancel your upsmashes with fox, you just do an upsmash while running and you slide a little bit.
I have learned that in Melee it is best to use your character's offensive options to use as defensive options. For example, Marth's sword is able to stop approaches and will be able to set up combos. This is much better than going with the defensive, shield grab. Grabbing will start combos too but people know how to avoid shield grabs.
With Fox, all you have to do is shine. Drill shine pwns.

It's easy. You just short hop -> aerial down a -> l-cancel -> shine.
With the nubs we play you don't even have to l-cancel because they don't shield grab.

There's a rly easy way to see if your l-cancelling: go to training, jump, dair, l-cancel, and shine. If all of the hits register as consecutive (that means the consecutive counter shoould be above 1 after the shine) then you l-cancelled correctly. Its helpful.

Did you now that?
Sheiks is number one in PAL tier list because her moves have even more combo ability and less knockback except her killing moves?
Now you know!

Yes, but they also made her down-throw pointless. It's like Sheik's down throw in Brawl LOL.

lol PAL versions Anima's Overdrive Oblivion does multiple hits in the PAL version of FFX When you put the game on short scenes, it doesn't show the entire attack, just the first and last blows and the entire damage total. It does 16 hits of 99,999 damage, which in short scene shows up as 1,599,999 damage...lol

Yep. It was originally for TV (thus the name, the line where good quality tv in America and Japan is seperated from the rest of the world), but it was used for video games too (although TV PAL is much bigger).

I should play Melee more. My erratic playing style still has you baffled after 2 years. I consider that impressive. Wait...no. I need to play Melee less so you never figure it out.

It's been only a year. It was last year when I was introduced to competitive Melee by you and Eric (mostly Eric because he did technical stuffs). We did a single elimination tournament using the in-game system before call time in band (call time was like at 4:00). I used Link and I was used to playing with items on Hyrule temple and such. You raped me pretty hard the first couple of stocks but I almost came back and got you down to 2 stock (which was pretty good considering I had no clue what I was doing.)
I wouldn't say I'm baffled by your erratic play style...
I was just not playing smart (the other day) and kept falling into your smash attacks. tbh, people that beat me in Melee are people that know how to play the game but still force me to approach and punish me with a smash attack.
If you want to beat me just stand there and wait for me to approach and smash attack me. Seriously, just ask Tuba Justin.
