Awesome Land II: The War of Four Kings

[Mizagium]

"Very well..." Johnny saw the light from the Clock Tower's destruction. "I think that guy is also a threat." He pointed to the starship. "That's the second time your tower has been destroyed." Johnny snickered.

[Sartorius]

"Why do I even bother building those things?" Veralice laughed grimly. "On a serious note, where is the Time Keeper? I don't see him anywhere. And do you have any idea how to defeat him?" Veralice asked, searching to no avail.

[Mizagium]

"Well, he fused himself with that dragon thing of your that we, rather Dante, destroyed back in season 1. He then created a huge energy ball and let it loose. The whole land was engulfed in light, but he was gone..." Johnny thought about it. "It doesn't make sense."

[Sartorius]

"Nothing in this land ever makes sense. So, perhaps we're all inside the Time Keeper, who fused with a dragon that has been defeated at least three times..." Veralice said to himself, trying to piece things together. "If that were the case, however, How would we fight the Time Keeper if we're inside him?" Veralice asked himself, unsure of his theory. Dante continued to babble, although he was slowly becoming more coherent. "The country of Iraq has both a Prime Minister and an overlord!"

"Wtf is Iraq?" Veralice asked himself, losing his train of thought about the Time Keeper.

[Justice Bringer]

"unless he went forward or backwards in time" stated the drunk trooper waking for a second only to puke and fall back asleep

[Mizagium]

"I WOULD say to find Bill Nye the Science Guy, since he could blow RIDLEY's mind with science, but..." Johnny sat down to think clearer. "I bet Sarah would know..."

[Sartorius]

"Free Credit Report dot com." Dante started to sing. His head had almost completely recovered from its injuries.

"You alright over there Johnny?" Veralice said. He noticed Johnny was sort of staring off into space as he was thinking, almost as if he were talking to someone. While awaiting a response, Veralice went to the Vanity Mirror to stare at his pseudo reflection.

[Mizagium]

"Hmmm? Oh, yeah..." His thoughts drifted again. "I...I'm going to try and rescue Sarah." Veralice looked quizzically at him. "Stand back. Oh, and make sure Dante is okay."

Johnny picked up the Vanity Mirror and placed it on the ground in front of him. He placed the False Shield below it and the Ugly Stick above it. To complete the ritual, Johnny raised the True Sword and plunged it into the Vanity Mirror.

Veralice and Dante watched as the chains of Corruption were removed and the darkness was stripped away. The Mirror did not shatter and Johnny pushed the Sword in further.

The true beauty of the Mirror was revealed finally. "Sarah!" Johnny called as the Purification process neared it's close. Johnny removed the True Sword from the Mirror and stepped back.

A light emanated from the Mirror upward. Johnny and the others shielded their eyes from it. When it died down, Johnny opened his eyes.

There stood Sarah. Finally she was free. Johnny immediately hugged her close. She hugged him back. "Told you I would rescue you,"

"I always knew you would."

[Sartorius]

"Hmph. How touching." Veralice said, slightly disgusted but nonetheless relieved at Sarah's recovery. The light from the purification process cured the rest of Dante's silliness. "My headache is gone. That's good. When did she get here?" Dante asked, slightly amnesic from his head injury.

"Hello. You must be Johnny's sister. I'm Veralice, the guy responsible for most of this stuff." Veralice introduced himself with little remorse. "No hard feelings, of course." Veralice laughed half heartedly.

Captain Cody and his squad still on shadow/johnny's trail wondering whats with the chick poping out of the mirror

the squad took a position around the strange men (and girl) ready to attack
simaltainiasly the squad leaped out from behind there hiding places and attacked the group of strange people

Cody leaped out and stabed at johnny with his glove blade, but missed as johnny was too quick, his men were being sword raped by Veralice and Dante. Cody only had one chance. he jumped at sarah and took her at knife point. it was a stand off

[Mizagium]

Sarah would have no more of being helpless. She twisted out of the guys grip, forced the knife out of is hand and twisted his arm behind his back.

Johnny dealt with a few other nameless soldiers by hitting them with the Ugly Stick. They turned into hideous humans with tattoos just above their butts, even though they are guys.

"I won't be helpless anymore!" Sarah shouted.

So much for a stand off...

[Sartorius]

"Imprisonment!" Veralice yelled the name of another spell. The hideous soldiers of Captain Cody were tied with magically reinforced duct tape. "You can interrupt us after we slay the Time Keeper." Veralice said to the squad.

"Yes, Time Keeper. Our current priority. Let's go!" Veralice commanded, anxious to kill the Time Keeper OAFA. (Once And For All LOL)

[Mizagium]

Sarah glanced at Johnny, then at Veralice, then back at Johnny.

"Just roll with it." he told her and they followed Veralice.

[Sartorius]

"So, the Time Keeper is not actually here. He's outside of here. We have to find a way to get him here or us there because here is in there while there is out of here." Veralice said. Dante looked at Veralice in a confused way but continued to listen.

"So, anyone have any ideas?" Veralice asked the group, completely puzzled.

[Mizagium]

*My Mind was just blown*

[Sartorius]

"Very well, then. I guess I'll resort to plan Q." Veralice said. Hovering slightly above the ground, he amplified his voice and shouted "Time Keeper! I know you're out there! Come face us like the traitorous wretch you are!"

[Xero]

Phantom moaned and rolled over on his side. What had happened? (lol have you noticed how all the Watsrobes keep getting knocked out?.... well, except Cha Cha, so far) He pushed himself to his feet and rubbed his head. He snapped awake and looked around. Where was the Mirror? He must have lost it when he was knocked out. (lol wut? you also left all the Artifacts on the beach with Phantom and the clones, who were too dumb to take the valuable Artifacts and the unconscious leader of the Phantom Regiment and the Freedom Army, but I'll just say Johnny has them.)

[Sartorius]

(In all fairness they're all still inside the Null Void. No one is free anyway.)

[Xero]

Phantom, still slightly disoriented from his encounter with Jango, staggered into the woods. He had to find someone to help before he collapsed again. He staggered deep into the woods until he arrived at Lake Awesome. He reconsidered, remembering his last experience at the lake, and decided to keep moving before stopping to rest.

As he continued to limp through the forest, he thought he heard a noise. He stopped moving and held his breath, using his enhanced hearing that came with his hereditary Perfect Pitch. He heard voices debating on what they should do with "the prisoners." Phantom crept slowly forward and peeked through the branches. He saw a clone sharpshooter in full black armor sitting up against a tree. A rope tied him to the tree, as well as three other clones. He looked to the left and saw skid marks. Obviously, the prisoners had been dragged there. Then he looked to the right. Sitting around a large fire was a platoon of men dressed in green jackets, green pants, white shirts, black boots, and red hats. He looked at the individual faces. These men seemed familiar, as did their uniforms, but the memory refused to return to Phantom's mind. Then he saw the leader of the men. It was his old friend Jacob Throop! (lol) What was he doing here?

Suddenly, his amnesia wore off and he remembered: he was in Awesome Land, in a massive war against tyranny. He was the leader of the Phantom Regiment (who he still doesn't know is outside of the Null Void on their way to help) and the Freedom Fighters. He was friends with Lauren, the Queen of Special Land, and Arthur and his wife, the King and Queen of Really Cool. He had grown up with Gould Lacquer and had gone on many adventures with the Phantom Regiment on the Poltergeist, including several trips to Awesome Land, where he met Jacob Throop, the leader of the Corpsvets. The Corpsvets were a rebel group of former McJimmy's employees created, about the same time the Regiment was founded, in response to the lack of rights and benefits they received from their employer, McJimmy. They failed to overthrow McJimmy, so they turned to violence against tyranny instead when Veralice took over Awesome Land. Phantom and Jacob became great friends and their two rebel forces became international allies.

Then he looked to Jacob's right. Sitting next to him, with a sling on his arm and an ice pack held to his head, was Xero! Xero had run into Jacob near the Clock Tower before it was destroyed, and Jacob had promised to help him in the fight against tyranny. In fact, that's what the Corpsvets had been doing the last few days since the War of Four Kings began. Jacob had his men patch Xero and up, and they invited him to come along with them.

Phantom suddenly became very dizzy and tumbled out of the brush in front of the Corpsvets. Jacob and Xero rushed to his aid as his vision clouded and he blacked out again.

[Xero]

"I would just like to start by saying," Cha Cha began as the captains settled into the mess hall and began to quiet down, "thank you all for coming to our aid. With the aid of the Special Royal Navy, the Phantom Regiment would probably be dead; sucked into the black hole that recently appeared out of nowhere around Awesome Land. Thank you." He bowed his head and all the soldiers in the mess hall shouted, "HOORAH!"

"Now, onto the first order of business," Cha Cha said. "That massive black hole was created by that monster flying above it. That beast is RIDLEY. I've faced him before, but he is much more powerful than last time I saw him. As it seems, the black hole RIDLEY created is a portal to the deepest regions of the Null Void, where there is no coming back. Many men gave their lives to help us escape their fate. But now we have to find a way to get into the Null Void!"

The men were thrown into an uproar. Walk straight into the black hole they had just risked their lives to escape!? Where was the logic in that?

"May I have your attention please?" Cha Cha asked politely, but loudly. When the men didn't respond, he shouted, "People, listen to me!" The fracas continued.

"SILENCE!!" All the men turned to the source of the command that was still echoing around the wooden mess hall (lol wut). Queen Lauren sat in her throne, hovering above the large dining table. "Cha Cha has something to say." She settled back down in her former position at the head of the table.

"Thank you, Your Highness," Cha Cha said. "As I was saying, we must enter the Null Void." He glared at two men who started to whisper to each other, but they stopped immediately at the deadly stare the Trumpet Hero shot in their direction. "Now let me explain why."

[Duke Nukem]

Narrator listened intently, still in the epic captain's pose he had assumed while on Cha Cha's ship.

[Justice Bringer]

Duncan awoke to find himself tied to a tree with three of his squad mates, he sprung his gloveblade and cut the rope free. " you three go and report this location to the commander" said Duncan. all of the men made a silent confirmation and headed away from the tree.

Duncan stood there a moment and assesed how much he was going to get paid for this.

he turned on his armors camoflage and started sneaking up on the campfire (messhall) to see what intel he could gather about his captures

Duncan saw his chance, a (random) corpsvets officer went away from the rest of the group to go pee.

Duncan stabbed him silently in the assasin style and put on his uniform.

for the time being he was under the alias of " Sargent Green"

[Xero]

When Phantom woke up, he was laying on the ground, surrounded by members of the Corpsvets, including Jacob, as well as his son, Xero. They had all been watching him anxiously to ensure his recovery. There was a collective sigh of relief as Phantom opened his eyes and struggled to his feet.

Jacob patted his old friend on the back. "Rough day, eh chap?" he said in a thick British (lol what's British) accent (lol Jacob Throop has a British accent).

"Aye," Phantom croaked. His mouth was dry. He hadn't had anything to drink in ages. He coughed hoarsely, and Jacob handed him his water skin. Phantom gulped the water down greedily, draining the pouch to the very last drops. He wiped his mouth, satisfied, his thirst quenched. But now he was hungry. Jacob snapped his fingers, and two soldiers walked forward with a tray with a great assortment of foods: roasted chicken, fresh-cooked bread, various fruits and vegetables native to the woods in that area of Awesome Land, henceforth referred to as the McJimmyLand, as it stood just to the east of what used to be McJimmy's and was now the Dark Hold Academy. He shoveled the food into his mouth voraciously, the men watching in awe as he finished his meal within seconds. Fully refreshed, Phantom took the bottle of rum Jacob had just offered him. Jacob remembered Phantom's great taste for rum when they were younger. That favoritism for the famous sailor's drink stood to this day. Phantom took a deep swig of the delicious liquid, then grew attentive and serious.

"Thanks for taking care of me," he said to Jacob. "Now, who are those men over there?" he indicated Duncan and the clones with his bottle, rum sloshing over the sides. Phantom was known for his ability to consume large amounts of rum without becoming drunk, but the effects of the alcoholic drink acted more strongly in Phantom's weakened, still-recovering state.

"Them?" Jacob said, looking at the clones struggling against the ropes that bound them to the tree. "We picked those four up on the way over here to McJimmyLand," he explained. "There was a big explosion and Veralice's old tower was destroyed. (By the way, was Gustav trying to hit Duncan, is Duncan with Motevator666 (because earlier Justin said Duncan "needed to pay Motevator a visit," and is Gustav with Motevator? If the answer to all of the above is yes, WHY?) We came across them yesterday on our way here. They must have been hit by the explosion pretty hard because it looked like they had been thrown by the explosion, by the way the tree branches were snapped toward bodies from the direction of the tower. We heard some voices, kinda muffled and automated-sounding, and we saw more guys in black plastic armor. They saw us while we were dragging those four to their feet, and they started blasting at us. That's actually why Xero's wearing those bandages. Not because he had a terrible run in with the clone army while he was with the rest of his men, like Mykal had planned. Sorry, Mykal," he said toward the person typing these words at this very moment.

"No problem," Mykal said. "I'm working with it and my plot is still on the right course."

"I gotta go pee," blurted a random officer. He stood up and walked off around the circle of men sitting around the campfire.

Jacob shook his head in mirth. "That Sergeant Green! So how are you doing?" he asked Phantom. "Well, besides being out cold for a few hours and being attacked by Jango Fett at Lake Awesome and being sucked here into the Null Void?" Phantom stared at him, wondering how he had obtained all this knowledge. "Oh, Xero, told me," he said when he noticed Phantom's inquiring look. "Thanks for the hint, Mykal." (By the way, I'm going to have a lot of conversations with Jacob Throop during this story. Just cuz.)

Back aboard the Lauren, Cha Cha was explaining his reasoning for going into the Null Void.

"My father and brother are in there, as are the Prince and Princess of the Kingdom of Really Cool, and and all the other citizens of Awesome Land. By the way, for those of you who didn't know, my father is Colonel Phantom, the founder of the Phantom Regiment, the great resistance force from Ausum Land." There was a hushed murmur amongst the captains. Apparently, Phantom's name was known throughout the world. "Johnny Mambutoo O'Malley," he continued, "the Prince of Really Cool, traveled to Awesome Land in search of his sister, Sarah, who disappeared a year ago. We discovered her spirit in the Veral Dimension, a dimension dangerously close to the Null Void. The entrance to the Veral Dimension lies on an island off the coast of Awesome Land called Veraland, discovered by the Emperor of Awesome Land, Veralice, years ago. We found a way to free her, but we needed all four Artifacts of Wisdom, one of which was recently stolen from me by a mysterious black figure that appeared and disappeared almost entirely without notice. I don't know the intentions of that black figure, but we can only hope that they are good.
"Before we returned to Awesome Land after leaving your glorious Special Land, the Time Keeper, the Mambutoo O'Malleys' former adviser, turned back time and recreated Veralice's old tower, which the crazy emperor destroyed in Season 1. Time Keeper then restored RIDLEY, the dragon, to his former glory, and made him even more powerful. He fused RIDLEY with the Null Void, making the Void a part of the dragon. As the dragon proceeded to consume all of the Null Void, the Veral Dimension began to disappear, sucking Sarah deep into the Null Void. Now she is free to roam about Awesome Land, but only while Awesome Land remains within the Void. However, we must find a way to destroy that black hole because, the longer one stays in the Void, the more his soul begins to disappear and the more he fades into the Void, never to return again.
We have to enter the Void so that we can help those brave soldiers in there fighting the forces of tyranny that have reigned over Awesome Land for so many years! Some men should remain out here to fight RIDLEY, while the rest of us try to find a way to enter the Void."

"Escuse me, sir," said a man in a sombrero who had a thick mustache that stretched out from his face at least three inches on each side. "Eh, um.... may I made a sujession? What if we jus' kill ze dragon? Mehbe ze black 'ole will disappear?"

"No, the Void will not disappear," Cha Cha said patiently, although his patience was wearing thin. "I tried that just before you and the rest of your navy arrived. I shot RIDLEY with a cannonball, and he fell to the ground, but the Void still remains, as you can see."

As the mess hall erupted into great commotion, Lacquer stepped forward and whispered something to Cha Cha. His face lit up and he handed over command of the meeting to the Queen, then stepped out of the mess hall, Lacquer and Salvatore following him. They boarded the Poltergeist and prepared to sail, but waited a little to let Narrator decide who he wished to follow. They had a plan.

[Xero]

"So," said Lieutenant General Throop once Sergeant Green had returned from his pit stop, "what's our next move?" He looked around at the faces around the fire. He had side by side with many of these men for years. All were experienced fighters and he trusted them with his life.
