Haven't seen a new character thread in a while, so here's Gimpyfish's new Shiek video.



His disclaimer says that everything he does is escapable, but he seems to do a good job of predicting it and moving on from tilts to aerials, showing that Shiek does have the chance for massive combo ability (probably the most, considering Lucario's comparable combo ability disappears after he hits about 75%, maybe less (Jason and Robert would know better than I do). Also, Shiek's Up-b recovery has better distance, her F-smash can actually kill, her U-smash has been reduced (but can hit twice), her chain is beast and is an edgehogger's greatest tool, and while her fair doesn't pack as much knockback, it can pseudo-wall-of-pain like he does in the video (during the beginning he dies because of it, but later he is able to pull off that combo without killing himself).

Overall, its just another reminder that tiers don't exist.

This was pretty good, but if you use your second jump wisely this would never work. But still, Sheik = Melee Jigglypuff + Sheik o.O

I like Gimpy's Sheik. I didn't even think about the tether recovery working as an edgehogging tech. I might have found a new character to play with
