My name is Shadow. I am the world's ultimate life form. I was designed 50 years ago by Professor Gerald Robotnik in an attempt to gain immortality. His planned failed, however, and I was reprogrammed to destroy the planet using the Eclipse Cannon. Things didn't go as planned and I ended up helping save the planet before my death. After crashing through the Earth's atmosphere, I was resurrected by Eggman and I'm now on a mission to keep the Emeralds out of the hands of you miserable fools.
