I've met a person that changed my life. She's had to deal with worse shit than all of us combined (keep in mind she dealt with it alone, telling nobody), and she still has a positive outlook on life. Wow. We all complain about our own problems and even each other, but for what? We accomplish nothing by doing this, and if anything, perpetuate our own negativity. I'm guilty of this too, and from now on, I'm going to make a serious effort not to. What I'm saying goes beyond the statement, "it could be worse." No. What I'm saying is that it doesn't matter what happens, as long as we keep moving forward. It's a cliche, I know, but still true. We've told ourselves this, and been told this, but how often do we listen. I don't expect anyone to listen now, but it doesn't hurt to be reminded every once and a while.
Keep in mind that I'm going to be a little preachy from now on if you guys get out of hand. That means no more constant Robby-bashing, no more post after post of negativity, and no more karma bombs. Don't waste your life doing crap like that. Make a real impact. A positive impact.

The REAL Lucco/Duke Nukem would never say something like that...What have you done with him/them? On a more related note, I agree wholeheartedly with what you're saying. Life is much too short to complain/whine/moan/etc./ about every trivial detail that doesn't come out the way you want it to. Dwelling on such events only impedes progress, and progress is one of the more important things, if not the most important thing in life.

I believe my parents have raised me to be grateful for what I have and leave my problems behind.

Well, I still don't like pooping at other people's houses. :\ Some things in life are worth whining about.

I said no excessive Robbie-bashing. A joke every once in a while is fine, just don't get excessive.

A joke every once in a while is fine, just don't get excessive. that's right. because if a joke about someone is made almost all the time it looses it's taste and is less appealing. try keep them spaced out every few posts or even a page.
