Hey, here is the new riddle of the week!
I will give out the answer on Mondays and the person who gets it right first gets +2 karma. If you get an answer that is close or similar to the correct answer you get +1 karma. 1. If a woman is 36 inches plus a third of her own height tall, how tall is she?
2. Can the following equation be corrected? If yes, correct the problem.
62 - 63 = 1
I'm legally allowing you to use any resources you want. Including the Internet and calculators.
1)Answer- 54 inches tall
Explanation:
36+(1/3)h= h
36+(1/3)h - (1/3)h = h - (1/3)h
36=(2/3)h
54=h
The woman is 54 inches tall.

2) Yes, square both sides.
Explanation:
62 - 63 = 1
Step 1- Square both sides
(62-63)² = (1)²
Step 2- Simplify
According to order of operations, you must do what is inside of the parenthesis before you use the exponents, so...
(-1)² = (1)²
(-1)² is infact 1, since -1 x -1 = 1, so...
1 = 1

Sarah pours four ounces of coffee into an eight-ounce cup and four ounces of cream into a second cup of the same size. She then transfers half the coffee from the first cup to the second and, after stirring thoroughly, transfers half the liquid in the second cup back to the first. What fraction of the liquid in the first cup is now cream?
Hint: When I was solving this question, it helped me to draw out pictures to guide me.
