Ron Paul (other)
our choices are: A) old rich man who is out of touch with reality, and will die once elected. B) young wealthy black man who has never known hardship (he's black. they get everything given to them now a days), usually voted present while in congress, and will not change anything. (Maybe, if we get lucky, he will change the thing that keeps Arnold Schwarzenegger from becoming president) or C) some third party glorified anarchist who wont win anyway.
whatever, most of us cant vote anyway.

extended edition of chose B Top 15 Reasons Obama Shouldn’t Be President.
- Obama's Illinois State Senate Candidacy was influenced by William Charles Ayers, a domestic terrorist who was a founding member of an organization responsible for bombing the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon in the 1970's. Obama went on to serve on the Board Of Directors For The Woods Fund Of Chicago alongside with Ayers from 1999-2002. (this one makes me uncomfortable)
- Obama has no executive experience. In fact, the most Obama has achieved politically was speaking out against sending Marines to Lebanon in 1983--one year after they had already been sent. Even his running mate Joe Biden said, "The presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training." While Biden does have executive experience himself, he's not the one running for the president.
- Obama flip-flops over major issues such as the division of Jerusalem and the surge in Iraq. In January 2004, Obama said that it was time to "end the embargo with Cuba" because it had "failed in the effort to overthrow Castro;" in August 2007, he said he would not "take off the embargo" if he is elected president because it is "an important inducement for change." Though he always speaks of change, the only thing Obama's ever changed is his mind.
- Obama opposes off shore drilling which would give America energy independence and cut oil prices. Instead, he supports "alternate energy" sources. Seeking alternate energy sources is a good idea, but it's just not practical to deny the country oil at this point in time.
- Obama was involved with the radical anti-white, anti-American Reverend Wright for twenty years. Only after consulting with his political advisors did he leave the church. Obama later contradicted himself when asked about the church.
"The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation. When these statements first came to my attention, it was at the beginning of my presidential campaign..." -Barack Obama, 3/14/08
"Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely - just as I'm sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests, or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed." -Barack Obama, 3/18/08
- Obama wants to pull out of Iraq as soon as possible. This seems like a honorable decision. However, this naive approach will put Iraq right into the hands of al-Qaeda and supply them with a huge source of oil.
- Obama wants to disarm America with gun control. Good idea? Not quite. A policy like this would only take guns away from the honest, hard-working Americans that own guns solely for protection. Guns would still circulate through the black market, and they will still be readily available to criminals. Only now the honest Americans will be defenseless.
- Obama undermines the post-9/11 strategy for dealing with terrorists that has kept us safe. He instead supports the Supreme Court's decision granting habeas-corpus rights to terrorists. These are the same terrorists that are not American citizens and at the very least hate America and Americans with every fiber of their being. Obama empathizes with them.
- Obama is for gay marriage. Now I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing, but homosexuality is clearly against the Bible, which Obama openly says he believes in. How can you worship according to the Bible, and then completely disregard that in your legal policies? When asked if Jesus was the only way to heaven, Obama replied "He is the only way FOR ME." However, in the Bible, it says that Jesus is the only path for the world. To believe in the Bible would be to believe that Jesus is the only way, yet Obama does not believe that. (he will probably flip-flop on that so whatever.)
- Obama claims that he will decrease taxes for the middle and lower classes and raise taxes for the rich. A sensible "Robin Hood" approach. However, what many fail to see is that this will in turn put more people out of work as the wealthy take their business out of the country to compensate for the higher taxes.
- Obama wants to grant illegal aliens citizenship and give them drivers licenses. This is the main reason why legal immigrants should not vote for Obama; the thanks the legal immigrants get for coming to the country legally is making all of the illegals (who obviously have no respect for America's system or law) citizens. Obama also supports the guest worker program, which allows non-citizen people to take jobs away from Americans.
- Obama seems to lack patriotism by refusing to salute the American flag and painting over the American flag on the Democratic jet, replacing it with his own "O" symbol. It appears he's ready to salute himself, but not ready to salute America.
- Barack Obama supports having a "free market." What he apparently does not realize is that a "free market" will create monopolies that will further corrupt America's economy.
- Barack Obama supports a universal health care system; providing health care for everyone seems like another good idea. A universal health care system would be the final nail in the coffin for this country. Medicare and Medicaid already consume 40% of the federal budget. In general, Medicare provides health care for people 65 years old and Medicaid provides health care for lower class families; even so, 60% of the lower class still go uninsured. If the other 60% of the lower class is insured for "free" (free to the lower class that is), Medicair and Medicade will require several 100's of billions of dollars more to operate, and that will put the country more in debt than the war in Iraq. People should be responsible for their own health care insurance, it should not be the burden of the state. Most full-time jobs provide this.
- Barack Obama's speeches often time contradict how he votes in the Senate (one example of the change that he promises us). He talks of lowering taxes but votes to raise them. He wants America to become more involved in the "global community," claiming that America should support third world countries by providing services such as health care and education to them. He wants to raise taxes (let it be for the entire nation as he votes or just the wealthy as he preaches) to fund other countries. I, being an American, do not want my president to sacrifice the security and well-being of my country to benefit other countries who don't even like America.
(now that i have said all that, don't vote republican. they're worse.)

no, its not racist. its the truth. I'm all for racial equality, but giving people jobs or an instant acceptance into college is the wrong way to go about it.

Cool that we think alike. I want McCain to win just because I want Obama to lose. Well, I saw the 3rd debate and I liked how McCain actually knew what he was talking about and the only thing Obama did was avoid the answer and use nice grammar.

Did anyone see the 30-minute infomercial thing on Obama? It was at 8:30, probably on youtube already. Anyway, it was really convincing. Obama acknowledged all of the problems the average american is having. HOWEVER! He didn't exactly explain how he would make these changes. Sure, he told us what he was going to do, but none of that would make any noticeable change and nothing will take effect until about 10 years. I'm sure that some of the ignorant people running for McCain will change their mind after seeing that infomercial, but that is just because Obama is a really convincing guy. McCain still has all the right ideas.

agreed. Unfortunatly I think Obama is going to win. Not only is the whole Race thing an issue, but the ENTIRE freaking media is on his side. I found a CHANNEL on tv call OBAMA, that spammed his Marxism all day and night!
Oh and anyone that speaks out against him is instantly destroyed without mercy. (but it is okay to diss McCain)
Democrats are naturally agressive, I suppose....

My rage level is growing just by thinking of your remark, Derrick. EDIT: I pray to God that you were kidding Derrick. I swear - if that remark had even a gram of conviction in it I will f***ing hurt you. I'm not even joking; I'll have you know that I've had to work much harder to ascend past the rest of the ignorant African Americans around me. So, for your safety, you better have been joking. Otherwise, I'll kill you. But wait, that would be stereotypical, wouldn't it?
